Handcrafted by our master luthiers in Germany, the HM87-SE is a stunning, top-quality guitar. After the great success of the classical guitar model HGL-50-SE between 2001 and 2007 our luthiers again harvested choice spruce from the Black Forest region in 2005. Now matured into seasoned tonewood, this spruce is used exclusively for this new master guitar model and meets all tonal, aesthetic and ecological requirements.

European tonewoods are used throughout, with the top and bracings made from German spruce, the back and sides from solid walnut, the inner linings from lime (linden, basswood), the neck from alder and the fingerboard and bridge from smoked oak. The wafer-thin eco-sealing of the top supports a stunningly quick and sensitive response and the rest is in a high-gloss finish. A quality Höfner case is included.
